:dontknow: Is this a good signing ? Half the goals he scored in his last season were penalties if I remember correctly! He is no Michael Gash when it comes to holding onto balls passed to him. He stayed at Fylde for a short while and was a substitute at Kiddy for most of the time .Why? Be surprised if AL can change his skill and attributes. Does this ask the question that there is no one else wanting to play here?

Agree with the stupid offside rule, flagging so late waste time and causes frustration, I thank god we don’t have VAR withe the standard of refs we have the game would last hours!

:scarf:. Seen something similar many years ago.

:scarf: Pre-season hard to judge especially with the away matches. As in previous seasons I would think there will be a few invitee trial lists who are unattached.
AL doesn’t like losing so I expect some matches will be ground out against better opposition when required. Hopefully we will make a fast start to the season and make the Walks a stronghold where others fear to tread!

Let’s not get negative, give the man and his signings and hopefully another 2or 3 a chance.

:scarf: IMHO This thread is beginning to go nowhere and solving nothing. Instead of     it’s  :argue:  between supporters. I withdraw from any more comments.

:scarf: That’s plenty of cover for the back if the Sports defender has signed on the dotted line,  reckon we need another midfield player and another striker.

:scarf: It’s the same every preseason, would have hoped that by now somebody (?SC)
would have realised that by keeping us updated with the happenings at the club it would encourage more interest in the club Having said my bit I am off to  play my fiddle

:scarf: I agree with pc467. KL have always been my team and when away from the area it was always the result I first wanted. Nothing beat watching the teleprinter in the vain hope on a Saturday night that it would appear before the league results were posted.
I am afraid life isn’t fair and it’s human nature in trying to obtain a special offer or sale bargain whether it’s washing powder, new jumper or anything else as we all try to make savings.
If it helps the club out why not join in.

:scarf: Afraid it comes down to accept what’s available and pay for it or go elsewhere or nowhere. If you add travel time and costs other alternatives are not so attractive. So that is the choice amen

:scarf: It’s always been a bit soggy as was the rec where the old swimming pool was.
I can remember one match where at halftime a drain plugs was pulled up near the centre circle and the surface water was swept away before the second half. Players managed then and with the old leather balls not the lightweight balloons they play with now
