 Same as last season as far as playing CA. Why do we persist in over hitting crosses and think Gold is a Jack on the beanstalk with balls coming out from our half, there was also a lack of support at times for him. We lacked control in midfield whilst CA strutted around, they outplayed us and had some clear chances to win 5-0. This is not playoff more like just keeping above the relegation battle.

 We might yet see “Joe”. Forgetting fans anti bias in some quarters, historically he has put some better wheels in motion e.g. the development of local players. As he is the owner of the club I don’t see why he had to disclose any business affairs as is greatly discussed on the forum. On screen he comes across as someone who wants to succeed with the club and needs us and a few more fans to back the club this season.

No Jonny Margetts for Saturday? Why ,injured or moved on. This is not a good statement without a reason given.There is no news of him leaving so imho this sentence should have been redacted to stop rumours possible false starting.

If last night's display was what we are going to see at the Walks this season roll it on. Mr Lakeland has begun to show his talent and deserves thanks for our survival last season as we were in dire straits and congratulations on his signings. Hopefully, M Hill is correct and also the “unfaithful fans” will return to the fold

 Is this a good signing ? Half the goals he scored in his last season were penalties if I remember correctly! He is no Michael Gash when it comes to holding onto balls passed to him. He stayed at Fylde for a short while and was a substitute at Kiddy for most of the time .Why? Be surprised if AL can change his skill and attributes. Does this ask the question that there is no one else wanting to play here?

Agree with the stupid offside rule, flagging so late waste time and causes frustration, I thank god we don’t have VAR withe the standard of refs we have the game would last hours!

Pre-season hard to judge especially with the away matches. As in previous seasons I would think there will be a few invitee trial lists who are unattached. AL doesn’t like losing so I expect some matches will be ground out against better opposition when required. Hopefully we will make a fast start to the season and make the Walks a stronghold where others fear to tread!
