That is a might result for Lynn today.  Looks like the corner has well and truly been turned. Onwards and upwards.

3 new sponsors on board followed by an away win.  Good news week.

Excellent result today and thing's starting to lookup, have to give credit to Setch and the lads for turning their away performances around after them first two thrashings.

From the report on our website, it sounds like Chesham lost the plot and the lads capitalised. Would loved to see Clunans 25 yard chip, not quite as good as last season's from the halfway line but it is great that he is finding his form. And isn't it nice to actually be talking about football and not a load of " he said- she said" tittle tattle.

Well done! A great win. Good to see the away form sorted and the togetherness of the club flourishing.

Lads was tremendous, perfect away performance from us, Toby was a threat all game and the experienced centre halfs (Darren Purse) !!! Couldn't handle him all game. Clunan was superb and his goal was special..... cheeky little chip. Back four and Peds was solid, special mention to Danny E on his debut and Gaugs was brilliant, his first half header to save from a goal was like a goal.
I honestly looked at their team and thought we will do well to get a result here and I am sure the Gaffa would have been pleased with a point but credit to everyone to get the three points couldn't fault anyone today a proper team performance.
Have to say the away support was brilliant again, havnt been to many away games myself and they are a credit to the club.......
Very positive meeting with the Trust on Friday and hopefully we can all work together in the future
Exciting times I hope !!

It was a little bit like the Frome game where we could probably consider ourselves unlucky to go a goal down but the lads dug in and stood up to the challenge.

Emmington began a little quiet and shaky but after the first 20 minutes or so he really grew into the game and began to link up well with others on the right hand side.

Jacek's goal was also superb, an arrow off the left foot straight into the bottom corner.

First half was a very even game I felt, both sides were willing to attack each other and both also had to soak up spells of pressure.

There was a referee's assessor there and even at half time he was getting shouted at by Chesham players and officials as they left the field.

It really was a mad five minutes just after the interval. Clunan's goal came from nothing. Hilliard put pressure on their keeper to play the ball out, which he mis kicked straight to Clunan. Stranded on the edge of the box he could do nothing as Clunan's delicate chip flew over him and into the net. Chesham's players then all surrounded the Lino on the far side as they felt the keeper had been impeded by Hilliard. There was a minute or two of confusion before the referee gave the goal and booked two Chesham players. In the following minute Purse received his second booking and was off, followed by his manager into the stand. After that the crowd turned and the atmosphere in the stand became hostile.

Chesham also had a strong penalty shout turned down which only served to rile the crowd up even more.

Defensively we looked like we could deal with most of what they threw at us, while we continued to raid with Hilliard and Edge latching on to clearances and creating chances for us.

All ended on a bit of a sour note with the referee's assessor sat in the stand taking as much abuse off the home fans and players/officials as the referee himself. The Chesham physio even came back out of the tunnel to confront the assessor after the players had walked off.

Chesham had one of the best home records in the league last season, so a big result and our depleted squad continues to work hard and got their rewards today. Hope we can reproduce the same on Tuesday.

After that shocking start to the season, Setch and the team have surprised us, despite injuries and
having to use some of our talented youngsters. We are now in the top half (just) - can we stay there ?
