Trust meet with Club Chairman
« on: September 09, 2016, 10:26:31 PM »

From Home page:

This evening, officials from the Trust held a meeting with Stephen Cleeve and Robbie Back. The meeting was mutually proposed and the purpose was to discuss the potential for the Trust to work with the Club in the future. This was a very positive and productive meeting at which many aspects of the Club were discussed. The Trust Directors now intend to hold a meeting early next week to consider these proposals.
If agreed by the Trust's Directors, a proposal made by Stephen will then be put to all Trust members for their consideration and to determine their thoughts on future action.
If you have achieved all your objectives, you have set your targets too low!

Let's hope not Marcus. Hopefully this will lead to a working relationship between Mr Cleeve and the trust and a great step forward for the Linnets.

Any idea when this might be announced to the general public? Sounds positive.

Excellant news that the new owner has got around the table with The Trust. Let's hope this is the first step on putting together a long term plan.

I note Robbie Back was included in the meeting. I know the guy is doing a decent job with the Reserves but the amount of work this guy appears to be doing behind the scenes how's about the Club offering him the job as General Manager ?  Would anyone on here be against such a job being offered to the guy?

Backie has done a lot to keep all parties on board and not take sides on many issues, i think his inclusion on any perspective meetings to further relations betreen the trust and club is a must.

Great news I will also Join if a agreement can be reached as for Backie he works his socks for the club and deserves full credit for his work and if the club needs a General Manager then they should give him the job.
