Why?  :dontknow:

There was plenty of "anti" feeling to him on here and he has just been cleared

Prosecute & sue his accuser. He's lost 5 years of his life & career.

Just because he has got the money does not make him innocent, he is a lowlife

Mike you will have to explain th bit where you say it doesn't make him innocent? People were so quick to jump when a court found him guilty, but cannot accept the decision of a court finding him innocent? :dontknow:

Surely the name of the accuser should now be made public?

I hope not.
It would not encourage other rape victims to come forward if they thought the accused might be found innocent.

Why did his money not buy him a verdict the first time then?

Like it or not the law in this country is innocent until proven guilty. He's been found innnocent. He can now continue his career. Good luck to him.

Not to be too pendantic, but he's been found not guilty, not innocent. And whilst no crime has been committed, the actions of the event hardly portray him as a role model.

Be interesting to see if he can sue for lose of earnings, because it could be one of the largest settlements from the crown.

Rod, the identity of all alleged victims of sexual assault cannot be disclosed in the media and is a lifetime condition.  If the victim is identified by the press or persons using social media then they commit an offence.  Some victims decide to forfeit this to give press interviews etc but that is their choice.

The Evans case was somewhat unique as there were two charged with rape but only Evans was initially convicted. This is unusual as in the vast majority of cases you'd expect either both or neither to be convicted/acquitted.

I was aware of this but my broader point is to challenge whether the accuser should retain anonymity if the accused is found not to be guilty!?
