If.................
« on: November 20, 2015, 12:53:28 PM »
......we win tomorrow and other results fall in our favour we could move up to 6th!!

A big if and more realistically to return with a point would be good, which I believe we are well capable of......1-1?

I'd like to think given the distance travelled to play this game in what might be described as "predicted unfavourable weather conditions"; we should be fired up enough to return with no less than three points.

Bideford at the Walks were very poor, to say the least, In fact one of the pporest teams to visit us in a few years.  Yet they stole/robbed/nicked 3 points.  We have improved as a team since then, so 3 points should be ours for the taking...

Bideford have also improved, being unbeaten in seven games to date.

Bideford caught us out on the break - play 3 x dedicated full-backs, two wing-backs, 3 x midfield and two up front - defence and attack in depth

Fantastic result yesterday. Big thanks to Yvonne for keeping us updated via Twitter. To return with such a result from a monster away trip the weather threatened to pour doubt on is excellent.

Only four away league goals in eight games before yesterday, the worst in the division. Stevo seems to have rediscovered the scoring touch, a first Southern League goal for Dylan Edge, and Jacek providing assists on tap!

Hard to see happening a few games into this season, but a win at Hungerford on Monday night could move us up to 6th position and only 2 points off the play offs. Shows how the team has progressed since August and now gelling nicely.

Fantastic result and especially after such a long journey. Great to hear of Stevo's hat trick......Whether or not he has or had been carrying an injury I freely admit I had been disappointed with his contribution so far this season.....Knowing just what he is / was capable of from his first spell with us, a Stevo' firing on all cylinders could make all the difference to our end of season position.
