Anybody seen him at the Walks? It appears to have gone quiet since he arrived in a fanfare.

Quote from Ray

"Hall said: Its about having a structure and strategy in place. There needs to be a community programme, recruitment, facilities, a pathway and an education before you can see a player come out at the other end. Whether Im involved here for a year, two years or even longer, whats put in place needs to be picked up by other staff and moved forward"

Thanks Backie.  Is this the club flying solo or are the likes of the College involved ?  Should be great for the club going forward, if it's a joint venture for the club and the Town

Doesn't seem to be much from the club on this one? :dontknow:

Ray Hall seems a decent fellow; but his comments on how development programmes move forward is exactly what is in place now!!
Is the Club going to compete with KL Community Programme Elite player scheme or encompass as there is Under 16 at moment linked!! Facility (Lynnsport), Scouting, Coaches, Pathway, and opportunity is already in place. Remember population density creates competition and a more streetwise kid.
How many Danny Mills, Henderson, Sutton (not locally born)Mendham are few and far between.
However the Club has Yong, Gaughran, Fryatt, Hilliard, Edge, McQuiad, etc are through so isn't CWA and Community Scheme doing a decent job!! The holiday event competes with Community Programme and doesn't bring harmony!!

Surely it would to be everyone's benefit to tap into the skills knowledge contacts etc.  Not wishing to play down the skills that might already be in place but this guys seems way ahead of anything that may be available coaching wise at local level.   For the Young Kids it would be crazy not to embrace what this guy has to offer.

That is well wide of the mark, Mallard!! What has he said that puts him ahead of the local 'A' Licence Coaches who work with or have worked with Norwich City Academy.  Locally; its always been seen that those from outside Norfolk HAVE to be better than the local equivalent.  How does Ray change things with 2-3 days a month in Kings Lynn. This may be more disruptive than constructive!

I don't have any inside knowledge of his coaching skills compared to locally based Coaches Frontman.  Do you ?   However what cannot be denied are the facts.  The Guy has been  involved  as a  Coach at a long established top level Premiership club.  He has been involved in some shape of form with the development of what have turned out be top level players.  Even some may say World Class.   Our current owner sees fit to bring in this person instead of recruiting anyone from the local scene, to develop a youth policy at the Club, one assumes.    The Guy has connections, via his previous life on Merseyside so much so he is permitted to use  images of the likes of Barclay and Rooney on advertising.

That's the case for the defence Frontman.  Over to you.

One would hope so Adam.  You cannot go around slapping people's images on to public advertising without their prior permission.   No one at the Club would be that stupid.  Would they ?
