I haven't seen the interview yet. But apparently quigs has left diamonds as he has some "issues".......

David Bell is returning to Stamford, Gregg Smith has gone back as well.

Before anyone shoots us down about 'Ex-Linnets' or so on, the only one of those three I'd consider putting into this squad would be Smith.

I  Think I would prefer to stick with what we have and wouldnt be keen to see any of them back.  Ability wise they all had plenty to offer, It was the other side that didnt quite match.

Quigz is a decent player at this level, no question. He was very much part of some great achievements here; and although he did let himself down towards the end I still wish him well.

If he did come back (purely for arguments sake), I'm just not sure who you would drop out of our current midfield to accommodate him. He certainly wouldn't be guaranteed a starting spot.

Dont think all three have much to offer as a replacement to what we have, as an addition maybe?.

I think its time we moved on, they are all in the past, we have a bright future with some good young talent coming through, lets stick with them, they will not let us down.

Although it is all hypothetical - nothing wrong in such chat as I don't think for one moment that anyone feels we should deviate dramatically from the current plan but I for one enjoy following the fortunes of those who have left us for pastures new.

I have read nothing at all about the Quigz 'development' on the Rushden website or forum and it would appear also that Spriggsy has disappeared from the scene?

Yes, I also noticed Spriggs didn't appear on their squad list on the website. Wonder where he's gone?

Wouldnt think it would be Boston, Sudbury, Sweden.  You never know about Kings Lynn though Setch sees something in him after taking back 3 times in the past.

As For Quigs If he could get his head together and keep his Nose clean, then someone would have a decent machine on their hands.  I am sure there are plenty of clubs out there who would take a punt on him.
