Thanks for the links. Great to read about football on the forum rather than some of the recent posts!
Lovely to see the enthusiasm of the new players and positivity! Looking forward to seeing them in action tomorrow.

A nice read. Well done to Lynn News.
Still very much the main rag in Kings Lynn when it comes to local football. I have to say I'm surprised at the apparent lack of interest shown by EDP with regards to what's going on at the Club.
Could try harder?  :dontknow:

Well the EDP really pushed the boat out today, one paragraph in a general football round up and not a one mention of Michael Gash's signing and they call themselves a newspaper supporting local football club's? Dreadful coverage.
I bet it's different on Saturday when we play Lowestoft who appear to be favoured when it comes to coverage!

Thought the whole Michael Gash thing was a bit low key on Saturday. Perhaps the chairman and IC on the pitch shaking hands with the new player on the pitch would have attracted a press photo. I learnt about MC signing from the guy selling programmes and then just before kick off there was a brief announcement with an incomplete biography of the new player followed by a brief appearance on the pitch. Not like last year when we had a smiling Setch, Metts and the Chairman at a fans forum!
Remember a pre-season open day not so long ago when we had an opportunity to come along and watch the new players quaffing ale in the grandstand!!

That was us quaffing the ale - not the players!  :laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry:

Would be nice if the club put on a meet and greet for the players and fans.

What I hope we get to see his a pre season in depth interview with Ian  Culverhouse with his feeling on pre season, his signing, his hopes and indeed expectations for the season ahead.

Need a big build up to the opening game and let's see a big one in to open the season.

What, like other Clubs do......  Maybe after a training session or even forsake a training session for a meet and greet......

Precisely, could be a Friday or Saturday evening in the bar, be good for fans to meet the team, from management down, opportunity to sell the club, sell advertising and marketing, push the friends of the Linnets and the lotto.. Maybe just as important sell some beer, let us resocialise the social side?  :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
