Match preview v Stratford Town.
« on: September 08, 2017, 10:25:37 AM »
Having ended the unbeaten record of Coleshill last Saturday, Lynn have the chance to do the same when Stratford Town visit The Walks this Saturday.
Stratford appear to be the division's draw experts with four from five, their only victory coming on the road against Royston Town.
Last Saturday saw Stratford record their first FA Cup win since September 2011 when they defeated step 4 side Newcastle Town 4-0. Newcastle, incidentally, being the side that demolished Spalding United 6-1 in the previous round.
Stratford's squad on Saturday included eight that were involved when they visited The Walks last March.
Some of the arrivals during the summer are also no strangers to Lynn with Jazz Luckie joining from Redditch. Luckie was one of two players sent off when Redditch visited The Walks last February.
Stratford are managed by Carl Adams who, co-incidentally, is a former manager of Coleshill, taking them to the Midland Combination Premier title in 2007-08 before securing two promotions in three seasons with Stratford.
