Reserves Saturday?
« on: October 02, 2017, 09:18:51 PM »
Saw a mention on the Facebook page that the youth game on Wednesday night could be off,also heard mention the reserves game Saturday may be off? Any official word on either?  :dontknow:
"If a window was broken or a drain was blocked up, someone was certain to say that Grissles had come in the night and done it, and when the key of the store-shed was lost, the whole farm was convinced that Grissles had thrown it down the well. Curiously enough, they went on believing this even after

Shouldn't be. Top of the table clash ( well top v 3rd) should bring in a decent gate for the young lads to play in front of

That is why I asked the question, national non league day as well, would suggest having the main bar open and pushing the advertising a bit more?  :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Where are these rumours coming from ?   Are their problems with the pitch ?  Cant ne the case after only 2 months and all the work that was done on it in the summer.

Teams just cant call a game off when it suits, otherwise where would it end.

Buster  Chapman use to have some great tricks for calling games matches off (  likely to rain, main power cable severed ) or having a meeting delayed ( suspected heart attack ).   :laughcry:

Fixture change

October 6, 2017

With the agreement of both clubs tomorrow afternoons planned fixture between King's Lynn Town Reserves and Woodbridge Town has now been switched from The Walks and will now be played at Notcutts Park.

Thanks to everybody at Woodbridge for their help in the reversing of the fixture.

Suddenly it is an "urgent" change but rumours have been circulating all week about game. Why can't the club just be open and honest?

So non league day,no game at Norwich,weather has been kind to us, first team a good distance away,and they take the game away from the Walks? An opportunity to attract a good crowd for a top of the table clash, what is going on? No official word,again the fans left in the dark and baffled, even more irritating as I had planned to take my grandchildren!!! Would love to hear the reasoning behind this decision? :banghead; :banghead; :banghead;

Just checked on Woodbridge Town Fc twitter account and the change of venue was posted on there yesterday. Citing the reason of work being done at the stadium.

Top of the table clash, would have been an attendance of between 150/200 I think, can we afford to lose that sort of money?  Just imagine if it wasn't for social media there would have been dozens of people turning up, some who drive in from a fair distance?  Hope someone has told Gerald,or will the club reimburse his wasted taxi fare? :banghead; :banghead; :banghead;
