It is indeed a kind gesture, that's why Hereford have a good fan base. If you look after those what help to pay the bills, you may get more coming through the gate. Fair play to Hereford.

Some may have, but I paid more than usual, and the man in front of me paid a tenner.
I am guessing extra income was also generated in the refreshment department.

Should have called it "pay what you want as long as it's more than the usual entrance fee" then.

We are “customers” not supporters according to mr cleeve perhaps that’s why most people will frequent cheaper hostilerys in around the town rather than the club, as they say the customer is always right!!

Did they take more or less than they would have done normally?  :dontknow:

I'll be going to the Hereford game and bringing two mates along who don't usually attend.

£15 great value for a top of the table clash. Big game and looking forward to having a beer in the bar, and getting behind the boys.

Bring a mate, increase the gate.  :scarf:

No, I don’t think any of them are going to purchase food or drink in the ground. Apparently they are booked in to eat and drink at a pub in town

And what are Saturday's lottery numbers going to be please ?

I have spoken to a few Hereford fans, online, and they say they won't be spending any money inside the ground.
