Quite a finale at Barrow.
« on: January 09, 2016, 07:44:41 PM »
If The Linnets supporters felt glum on Tuesday night against Merthyr spare a thought for Barrow fans today.  Barrow scored in the 87th minute to go 3-1 up, only to concede in the 90th, 90+2 and 90+5 to lose 3-4.

Interesting to listen to fans from both sides on the five live phone in. I don't think supporters from either side were particularly happy with their performances! Football really does play with your emotions and last minute goals to earn a point or three are always right up there.

Our game against Ilkeston two years ago on a pitch not dissimilar to yesterday was a prime example. 0-1 down for much of the game only to level right at the end of the 90 then grab two more goals in stoppage time. We would have all taken the point when we got the equaliser!
