What Pat Rayment said when he signed him:
" . . . we gave him a very, very good financial proposal – more than what Stamford offered. It’s wiped out the rest of my budget, if I’m honest."

If it is about bettering himself then coming to Lynn is a no brainer.  What I have found in situations like this  is the current Club will find a little bit extra to try and keep him.  If Money is the players main concern then i would suggest he may well stay where he is.  IF he does fancy moving up in the game then Lynn could be the perfect place for him, and it would speak volumes about player if he came for that reason.

Well Thats my two'penneth worth anyway. Plus Setch could tell him that he doesnt tolerate Poor Play in his teams.

And if are able to seriously compete for a play off place that 500 could become 600, 700.........

1200 to 1500 at least. Speculate to accumulate?

Shouldnt that be the name of the game ?   Chicken n Egg situation.  I think the best thing that could happen to the club this season is if Setch can guide us to the play-offs ( massive ask I know) we win the semi and then are beaten in the final at The Walks.  Strange statement i hear you say.

Reasons being. 1.  I think it would give the owner another valuable reminder ( he had in FA Vase, Trophys runs previously) of what the potenial is at The Walks if you have a winning team. 2. It would build up the coffers for a real decent push for next season. 3.  The fans would come in decent numbers next season to see a winning team.  4. IF we gained Promotion through the play-offs we would need a much bigger budget to even just survive in Step 2 ( look at Lowestoft), I do not think we are ready for that level and it would be one step to far, development takes time and we cannot afford to run before we can walk..

Ok pick the bones out of that lot .  :salute:

Didnt we have one of those from the Old club after the FA Cup game v Oldham ?  That soon went.  Also on the FA Vase Run another was built up.  Wonder where that all ended up ?
