Good to see you back posting Backie.   Is there not a groundsman employed by the Club.  Who in their right mind would think with the wet weather we have been having that a pitch could be just left after a game for 5 days and it would right itself.  That's utter madness.

There is more to running a Club than Tweeting on twitter etc.   Come on Mr Cleeve, get your act together before this great Club of OURS implodes under your watch.  Does this not all smack of the danger of having just one owner/Director running the Club..?

Hi Backie, welcome back.

No work had been done since Saturday on the pitch, it still has the divots all over from the previous match.

This does beg the question...............why?

The only upside to the pitch in the forthcoming play-offs is IF we get a home draw is that the teams involved will be hurt by the surface as much as us!!!
The point is we are a decent footballing side and we can't play football on the deck which is a leveller for very physical teams like Kettering. In no way does it help us.That is Culverhouse's point.

Exactly...Lynn may be better off looking after their players for the next 3 games and having a full, fit squad and play the play offs away, hopefully on better pitches. Presumably Mr Cleeve would like the revenue from 2 home play off ties....where is the incentive for the players to finish second ? Mettam was injured in the warm-up....did that have anything to do with the divots on the pitch, I wonder ?

Well definitely if we are guaranteed 2nd spot going into the last game I would send the reserves to Chesham.
