For the Run In - Who's Fit, Who's not?
« on: April 15, 2018, 04:58:06 PM »
Ryan Fryatt and Michael Clunan picked up knocks recently and Leon Mettam was injured in warm up. Tom Siddons has not featured in the last two games (Kettering and Slough), is Tom carrying an injury?

So, who's fit and who's not? Who will be available and who will Ian Culverhouse be resting/protecting during our St Ives (H) and Chesham (A) in preparation for the Play-Offs?

I think Clunan is out for the season; the others I don't know about - get the impression that we won't see Siddons or Mettam again this season; no idea about Fryatt.
It's so tight at the top that Lynn will still need another win (St Neots at home this Sat) to be reasonably certain of 2nd place. Kettering can still catch Lynn although their run in is horrendous - 3 games next week! Need to hope that Weymouth and Kettering draw on Thursday and then a win on Sat will see us virtually there. I can still see this going to the final game against Chesham so players will not get any chance to rest up.

At least we only have one game a week.  :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
"If a window was broken or a drain was blocked up, someone was certain to say that Grissles had come in the night and done it, and when the key of the store-shed was lost, the whole farm was convinced that Grissles had thrown it down the well. Curiously enough, they went on believing this even after

2 difficult games to finish , lets hope its not what happend at Long Buckby lost but promoted by default LB didn't want to go up.
Not going to get that kind of luck this time. Will be a travesty if Lynn don't get promoted.
Thought about the Cambridge thing for a long time, certainly done a great job for Lynn and very lucky to have had him.

I think Clunan is out for the season
NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Say it ain't so Joe. It would be sad if he is not available to carry us over the line. Clunan doesn't always make the perfect pass but he is always committed and  positive in his play.

From the EDP

But Lynn boss Ian Culverhouse’s thoughts turned quickly from the league table to the treatment table with the business end of the season now firmly in sight.

“It is a real concern,” admitted Culverhouse. “Michael Clunan has a fractured toe, Leon Mettam continues to struggle with a calf problem and Sids (Tom Siddons) has a hamstring so that’s three that were unavailable to me today. Then after 15 minutes we have had to take Ryan (Fryatt) off with a heel problem – and that doesn’t look good at present – and we ended with Tom (Ward) struggling with his ankle.
