Sadly he handed his notice in three months ago, they have only just decided to tell us, Setch would have loved his budget?

I do wonder how the NLP just randomly contacted IC to get this story, or was there a tip off from inside the Club? I thought all media contact had to go via the Clubs media department, yet the same media department is claiming they had no knowledge of this story breaking.  Confused.com

Surprised journalist didn't contact the club for clarification on certain aspects of the article. The whole timing of the release of the article stinks !!!!!!

Perhaps IC wanted to get his story out first before Mr Cleeve gave out a version that slated IC but covered him in glory? :dontknow:

If the club is upset with IC etc does this make his position for the last League game and the play-off untenable ?

If so who could take charge for the next 2 games, to give us the best chance ?

This would seem the most likely reason. Get his side out, while he has a chance. Given that he did tell them he was leaving in February, some of Cleeve’s recent comments about him not going anywhere, can only be seen as at least somewhat deceitful.

I hope no silly decisions are made and IC completes the season, what a way it would be to top it off with a home play off final and the fans being able to celebrate with IC and the team.

Given the rumours about Cambridge United and Cleeve's denial then perhaps the NLP reporter thought there might be a story, so maybe not that random a contact.

Having time to think about this, I can’t be the only one to think it’s disgraceful that Culverhouse has gone to the press without informing the club. Dependant on the teams performances over the next couple of weeks (I’m not saying results) it could really taint culverhouse’s legacy here.

You’d only inform those that you could trust. That’s why some officials knew in February and others didn’t.
It’s pretty clear that only Culverhouse’s closest allies were aware of the situation.

Regardless of who he trusts something of this magnitude should be discussed fully between those at the club.
