"Jamie Heaphey Club accountant wanted it done like that. All players got one."

So everyone now out of contract?

reading the above from Nemisis if all the players received  a P45  we have technically  got no players and everybody is then free to sign for which ever club that shows an interest  am I correct in this assumption,

It was said by Mr Cleeve, everyone was issued P45s so their tax allowance out of season could be transfered to their day job, so pay less tax.

As Mettam was here last season and assuming he didn't get a P45 last year then he must have wondered what was going on.

If they weren't told why aren't the rest of the squad making a fuss ?  Why are people on here ASSUMING they weren't told or communicated with. Good riddance to Metts I say, he said himself he never stays anywhere more than 2 years, jog on.

Tax year to tax year, it’ll make no difference to the amount of tax you’ll pay.

What it will do is let the club start again the 3 month lead in to auto-enrolment pension schemes. Save the club some cash on employer contributions, but make the players slightly worse of in the long run, if they hadn’t already opted out of course.
