Biggleswade at home
« on: August 07, 2018, 07:51:58 AM »
Its finally here the first game of a brand new season.  All the huff and puff of the Pre-season out of the way now we get down to the real stuff.  Where are we team wise ?  How many fans will show up on the opening day, waiting to be impressed.... What will the score be ?

Great Pictures on Twitter of the new Squad.  Looks an in depth Squad of 20

I'm going for 820  and a 4-1 Victory.  Lets start positive.

Admin...Any Chance the fans could have a list of the players in this team Photo ?

I feel that being the summer holidays that many people will be away, and some have already cited the price is putting them off,I will go for a 625 attendance and a 2-1 win for us. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:
What really falls me is that people are so clever hiding behind a name and continually calling people out for their opinions! I like real people who can discuss things face to face, please make it a prerequisite that if you join the forum your actual name is visible. Cue posters leaving!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers Paul,

Where on earth did I get the name Higgs from ?  John Higgs was a decent keeper for us, or maybe it was the lad we had on trial who has now gone to Lowestoft.  Cant be on too much gold there.

Not sure if he is yet.  :dontknow: In the squad photo but I've seen nothing being announced that he's actually signed.

In the team photos, but not signed and opening game tomorrow... Seems  a strange one.

Maybe The guys the Media end can clear that one up for the fans

He must have international clearance because he would not be able to play in the friendlies with it

Is that "without it" Nem'?

It's been a long week!
My mistake. Only allowed to play in a friendly if it is behind closed doors, otherwise a player needs international clearance and it is not something he can do for himself.

Hang on . .  I might be wrong. That may just apply for amateur players. Can't find anything about semi-pro
