The Crazy World of The Premier League
« on: November 18, 2018, 07:19:49 AM »
Richard Scudamore the outgoing CEO of the PremierLeague is to given a goodbye handshake of £5m.  This despite having been paid in excess of £2.5m per annum ( with bonus) plus all the perks that go with such a job.

With grassroots Football struggling and needing serious investment have The Premier League competely lost the plot.
What a joke !!!

I hope the man Scudamore has at least the good grace to donate this golden handshake to charity.

Think you will find that this has nothing to do with the FA, but is by the Premier League.

Thanks Rabbit, was having a senior moment.  Now amended.

Glad to hear Stan that we sing from the same Hymn Sheet on at least one thing.

England U 23ís played a game the other night where the proceeds went to the homeless.  Scudamore is in 2.5m per year and has been in the job 20 years.  To accept £5m, the man should hang his head in shame.

All teams in Premier being asked for donations of £250,000, so I read in papers.

That would be better donated to local grassroots clubs.

Yes it is shocking and disgusting.

Nice to see 3/4 teams refused to do so. Considering so many articles talk of the gems hidden in lower league football, its a shame they won't support it more!

I doubt Scudamore will donate any funds, he is the bloke after all who (allegedly) was pushing for a European Super League a few years back.
