As of Sats game against Kettering the average attendance is 719 and this time last year after 12 home league games the average was 760 which is 41 down a drop of 5.4%.
We had some big games in the run in last season with an average of 802 for the last 11 home games before the play offs.

Take off the clark effect from the start of this season with just 535 attending on the Sat at home against Stourbridge and I think the figures would be pretty similar to last year. If we continue to play as we are with our sights on the play offs can see the attendances remaining on par with last term, but then anything can happen in football as last year on tuesday 10th Oct with grant holt and simon lappin making their debuts again Hitchin the attendance was almost 500 greater than the previous home tuesday game on 26th Sept against Biggleswade.
As Greavsie used to say: "Its a funny old game!"  :scarf:
Using your calculations: the figure of 760 includes the Hitchin game with Holt. To make a fair comparison with this season, as that was such an exceptional one-off, the extra 500 needs to be excluded.
500/ 12 - 42, making the average for the first 12 matches last season 718, which is the same as this season.
:)
We might just be on a par with last year, even with the price increase Stan.
Next season only promotion will justify any further increase.

Was the increase this season not to ensure promotion, to assemble a squad capable of taking us up? :dontknow:
"ensure:" your words or the club's ?

There you go again Stan, not answering a question with a question,go back through your programme notes from the start of the season and ensure I have used the correct word? :dontknow:
It sure is nice when your propaganda machine is so dumb that it basically runs itself. Who needs reasons or explanations when your sheeple are happy to lie around bleating the latest soundbite?

You at the game today Griss? If you're not you're missing some great stuff it's a bit like the Leiston game. We look stronger away from home.
