Interesting signing. CB was not the position I was expecting a new signing for.

1st of a few I hope.

Another expected this week, gives us 3 true CBs for when we go play with wingbacks and allows Jones and Richards to not be rushed back.  :cup2:

Certainly had good experience for a 22 year old.  Played at a decent level before Cambs City.

For me not quite at the standard of this current Lynn squad. Would do a good job elsewhere in this league.

A young man with a good pedigree and presumably a point  to prove. IC should be able to bring him on too

Great news, unfortunately MC hasn't looked the part since his return and have thought we could do with a bit more tightening up at the back all season.  Given that Fryatt has shown he was more than capable of playing in a back 3 at times last year it would make sense if we at least tried a 3-4-3 for a period this year, particularly when it would allow Jones / Richards to play in a more natural position (FBT seems equally comfortable in whatever position / formation and proves what an asset IC signed last summer).  As others have said, chance for the new lad to learn under IC so hopefully he will grab it with both hands.

Now for a bit of defensive midfield cover for Jones (and potentially Richards) and we are probably at our maximum squad depth (budget allowing), could IC look for a loan for a month given that one or other, or even both might be back by then?
