This shows the fragile state of the squad with Jones and Henderson injured but on the bench :dontknow: if it isn’t addressed I fear for us later on in the season, with lack of funds, overpriced players, time of the year, the play-offs will be tougher than we thought. Looking at Kettering’s squad they have at least eight senior players to bring in :banghead;

When Joe Robinson was subbed by Aaron Jones we went two at the back and Jones went into a midfield/wing attack. Ryan Hawkins was nowhere nearly as effective as usual. FBT was missing the telling through balls that Chris Henderson slots to him.

How the ball did not go into the Leiston goal I have no idea - Was their goalie a Klingon and had activated his Cloaking Device and Force Fields.

Sometimes fans moan that there was nobody in the box for crosses etc. Yesterday we had too many and Adam Marriott got "in the way" of a goal-bound shot.

Mind you, if the Leiston No10 (Chris Henderson look-a-like) been on form we could have been 4-5 down.

Hawkins looked lost as a wing back but more effective when he was switched to right mid.

We tried to accommodate the new lad but it didn't work although he looks a useful player.As soon as Jones went to full back our play improved.

Stan why are you now allowing conversations concerning squad size and depth go unchallenged? A few days ago you were all over people discussing such issues,you know it is nothing to do with anyone? :laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry:

It's a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.

This explains wing-back. Hopefully that has made the difference clear.
