St Ives away this Saturday
« on: January 25, 2019, 06:57:39 PM »
After the very disappointing result against Hitchin midweek, will Lynn be able to bounce back against St Ives? Lynn's opponents, who sit in 12th place, don't score many at home but don't concede many either. Looks like a tight game, especially as this is, in East Anglian terms, a local derby.
What side will Lynn be able to put out tomorrow, I wonder?

Has there been any news about FBT's fitness? How is Aaron Jones after knee surgery? Is Ryan Fryatt recovered from illness?

All three defenders out of action shows our lack of depth at the back. Could make for an interesting game today.

Hopefully be a great turn out from Lynn fans, their largest attendance this season so far was against Tamworth,306 attendance. I'm more than certain that lynn fans will beat that today? :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Looking for a positive response today.  Fancy us to nick this one, in doing so I hope the opposition bench behalf themselves.

Sounds like we did everything but score a winner in that last 20.

Canít see Stourbridge catching Kettering now not enough quality in this league for them to drop enough points.

Best two players on the pitch were the two goalies.

First half we were not at the races. 2nd half we did everything but score, dominated play by playing FOOTBALL but St Ives were always dangerous on the break.

FBT, Hawks and Richards were great - Hendo was all over the midfield and left side linking up with FBT. Cunan's yellow was deserved as he took out the player. Ref tried to keep the game going, waving away some situations that would have been free kick with another official. Some strange calls at times and Gashy got a yellow for back-chat. He also booked a St Ives player for time wasting but not in anyway could it be tactical as it was 10-15 mins into 2nd half - guy had no one to throw to. Gashy, Marriott, Hendo, Parks were peppering the St Ives goal but bodies got in the way or goalie made good saves. Lynn were far better side but they defended well.

Next up Tuesday at the Walks.
