Going to be a fiesty affair when itís re-scheduled by the sounds of the incident after it was called off.

What incident is that?

Alverchurch training on the pitch after being asked not too, leading to a scuffle breaking out.

If I had sat on a coach all that way would do the same. The information was very poor and should have been cancelled much earlier

Thanks for the info. Let's hope its not another Refs report to FA!

Thereís no doubting very poor from Lynn, I did Alverchurch away which is 4 hours if you are lucky, for the game to be called off at 2 is dire. However to then train on a Ďunplayableí pitch when there is a park next door just to run people up the wrong way seems very tit for tat.

Shambles of a day really. My apoligies to all connected with @Alvechurch1st
who travelled and @officialKLtown supporters. Bad advert for the club. Things must improve, not comfortable with putting my name to it. #mustdobetter

Then why put his name to it ?  Get a quote from the Chairman  and let him take the flack.  He is quick enough to take the praise.

Is Mark Hearle about to resign or has he already gone ?  Then again maybe he will swallow his pride and stick around for the freebies

The worst thing is that the club had announced it was definitely on in the morning. It didnít freeze during the middle of the day, so must have been frozen when they sent that out.

Iím lead to believe that Alcechurch training on the pitch were trying ti make the point that they didnít think it was that bad. From the seven sisters, it really didnít look terrible; muddy, but playable. Thought doing so probably would have wrecked the pitch for the rest of the season.

OMG fellas lets get a grip, it was only a game cancelled due to the weather, these things happen, I very much suspect the away support wasn't  goona be vast numbers , they only average 250 ish at home anyway, why all the sudden concern for an away side.
It was the ref called the game off, in his OPINION it was unplayable, in our OPINION it was.
As for blaming the chairman.... At one end of spectrum do village clubs and at the other do premier league clubs expect the chairman to decide ??
As someone wrote earlier what's the difference between playing on hard pitch because of it being frozen or it being hard in the summer from heat?
Differing opinions, let move on and get em back here on a cold Tuesday night after a hard day at work.

Fact of the matter is they were told that the game was on, whoever made that decision this morning obviously wasn't qualified to make that decision, should have got a local official to come and inspect the pitch. So when a qualified official looked at the pitch in the afternoon it was too late, the away team were already there, and spent probably a large amount of money to travel, and now they will have to spend that amount again,so they have every right to be annoyed,I hope all the fans got a full refund! :bankrupt:

Maybe next time we send a few hundred away fans swelling the coffers of the host club we should ask for free drinks or burgers or help with travelling expenses.
It's part of being a football supporter, it happens. I remember years ago bussing it too Moseley or somewhere up north and the game got called off, was disappointing but we had a ride out and a few beers on way home, good time was had by all
