Transfer listed at own request ?  Culverhouse made a mistake in signing him?  Or reducing the wage bill ?

Makes sense then for all parties to get him off the books. Step 4 player who couldn’t cut it at Step 3.  Nothing ventured etc

A 4th reason could be that Kerins was signed at a time when Lynn were so desperate for a right sided defender that he was the best available. No disrespect to Kerins but he looked out of his depth at Step 3.

Transfer listed rather than released. So he was on some kind of contract which has not been cancelled by mutual consent,  so he is still being paid? Can we get him out on loan?

Thought it was a fairly even first half and we were fortunate to go into half time with a lead - great quality for our first goal but it was one of the few times we tried to get the ball down and play.  Their manager sent them out early for the second half and they got caught cold as we pulled them apart for our third which effectively killed the game as Coalville lost their heads.  Thought Fryatt was outstanding, McAuley also had a good game and thankfully for us Perry seemed far more concerned in helping to assess the ref (who if he really was being assessed should be looking at lots of short trips after dropping a few levels next season having totally let the game get away from him) than causing us any problems.

Still not convinced with our new plan A of getting the ball forward to Gash asap really is the best way for us to set up but as someone posted a couple of weeks back, between now and the end of the season its results that count.

Shame to hear the news of Kerins, although I guess IC has had him long enough to run the rule over him and if he doesn't see him fitting in his longer term plans then can see why he is willing to let him go with Jones seeming to have made a quick and full recovery.

All pretty fair Tony. A couple of weeks ago you commented that Henderson was playing too deep and to the side of Jarvis rather than in front of him. Henderson seemed to play much further forward on Saturday and his link up with Marriott worked really well.

How does it work that they turned the mighty Kettereing over? Not that I rated Kettering when they played us,maybe their late lucky goals are running out? I still think they will win the league, but good to see them falter a bit. :laughcry: :laughcry: :laughcry:
