Fair play the right thing has been done. A real inconvenience for all the teams involved and every team undoubtedly out of pocket, like others have said should never have got to this stage should have been sorted months ago.

Surely there must be a rule to cover this or at the very least a precedent set from the past.  So whatís the hold up from The FA?

The right thing has been done to a point but for complete fairness the NPL semis should also be postponed.

As the NPL semis are tonight (why are they earlier than SPL) then I suppose it's too late.

You'd have thought the 2 leagues would have got their heads together regarding play offs. The NPL final is on the 4th which is two days ahead of any potential final we may have reached. Which is before the current complications. Stourbridge are now in talks with FA unhappy with their postponement.

I can fully understand Stourbridge's unhappiness as they have now also been drawn into a problem that seems totally of the FA's making in not resolving this sooner.  Can you imagine what SC would say if it was us that had sold x hundred tickets, purchased food etc only for our match to be postponed due to a problem in the other semi?  There isn't a winner or a fair way of resolving this, all we can do as a club is hope that the FA come to their decision as quickly as possible and the league can work with all parties in sorting out a suitable revised date (what may suit Lynn might not suit Stourbridge and/or Alvechurch and they are now as involved as us in all this).

Don't see a problem with the NPL having their semis and playoff final on a different date, there isn't much between Saturday and Monday as they were originally scheduled although whether the Monday can now still stand has to be in question, but if Lynn get through the semi I can't see either of the clubs involved wanting to travel midweek for such an important fixture.

The Chairman deserves all our sympathy.  We have battled hard all season ( well most of it) to claim 2nd place.  The Chairman deserves a decent 4 figure crowd.  Letís hope itís not denied him.

 a decent crowd will be in attendance at the Walks, doesn't matter what day our supporters will turn out for this as they will should we make the final.  :cup2:

Big IF, but if things stay as they are, the winner from our league would be at home in the super play-off.

So reading twitter feeds Alverchurch and Stourbridge were told it will be Friday or Saturday they play, itís up to them to decide however as those who travelled to Stour will no they share there ground with a cricket club who have games on Friday and Saturday to further complicate

Two days extra rest Tony.
