Results tonight
« on: February 23, 2016, 10:35:07 PM »
Poole 1 - 0 Hitchin
Leamington 1 - 0 Dunstable
Stratford 0 - 3 Merthyr
Chesham 1 - 3 Cambridge City
Kettering 3 - 0 Dorchester
Cirencester 3 - 0 Paulton

So Leamington beating Dunstable keeps us in 5th place going into Saturday's clash, but they are now only three points behind us with games in hand. Defeats for Chesham, Dorchester, Hitchin and Stratford clocks off a game in hand for each of those sides.

Lots of twists and turns, but Saturday's a huge game for both sides.

Stating the obvious every game now is vital but perhaps Saturday has an added emphasis - at least a 'six pointer'?!

With the games that Leamiington have in hand and their current run of good form a point at the very least will be a big psychological boost and keep us well placed. Although we won't be out of it if we lose it will make life that much more difficult?

I don't see Saturday as a 6 pointer.  There are around 6 teams going for the 4 play off places, and there will be a good few twists and turns still to come.  The Clubs in the top 7 will still have to play each other.  I think Setch set his stall out a few weeks back when he said he needed X number of wins to get in the play-offs.  A Point Saturday would be a good result.  The main thing has to be to keep winning our Home games and see what we can nick on the road.
