All because the FA could not process Stratford's Player Registration correctly. Stratford sent paperwork to FA with THREE Players - FA reply that paperwork received - FA sent Registrations but with only TWO Players detailed. Stratford play "unregistered player" by error. FA notice mistake when "unregistered player" is booked (Yellow) from Referee's Report.

It is then deemed Stratford's fault. Situation not dealt with until after end of season with Stratford in Play Offs.

Cue Chaos but it's not the FA's fault - Surprise, Surprise.

Extremely ironic considering all was fine for Stourbridge and Alverchurch when they were going to get an extra days rest until the chairman said this was unacceptable. Also how can a club at this level not be able to pull rank on the facilities they use for a playoff game, laughable really.

So he mentions that Stratford also rejected the deal, where is his condemnation of the Stratford chairman? Also it was the Sourbridge facilities in the end that dictated their outcome, nothing else!!  :banghead; :banghead; :banghead;

 :banghead; :red card: :yellow card: He like many others seems intent on blaming our chairman for any problems that seem to arise, this is no fault of our chairman or indeed our club, the problem was between the evo  stick league, Stratford FC and the Football Association . Our chairman was only fighting our clubs corner after an almighty cock up by the above mentioned 3.

Maybe he will now rethink his comments and apologies to our club and chairman, but I very much doubt it.  :farmer: : :oldman" The best answer we could give them all is to win promotion COYL.

I'm really happy that Mr Cleeve stood up for the club and threw his weight about. I'm all for openness and honesty in front of the fans but maybe a little more work should have been done 'behind the scenes' rather than on Tw@tter?

100% support his actions but wish he could have done it slightly more covertly.

Very hypocritical by their chairman and some of their more vocal supporters, all of which were happy for their game to stay on the Wednesday when none of us had a clue how much later we’d be playing Stratford, and were then happy to play on the Thursday when our game was scheduled for Friday. Cleeve complains (Alvechurch actually came out on Social Media at the time and said they would have done the same in our position) and all of a sudden the boot’s on the other foot and everyone loses their minds.
In the middle of it all let’s not forget Stourbridge’s Chairman was threatening to just pull his team out of the play offs altogether. If he’d done so I wonder if all their fans and players would have felt about it.

Let’s not forget all four clubs had also agreed to Monday/Wednesday before the FA stepped in and made everyone change again. Stourbridge had cricket Friday/Saturday and half of Lynn was shut for GEAR on Sunday. Somebody was going to be inconvenienced as a result.

Not that it matters now but the biggest joke was that we could have just played the games on the original dates after all.

In the play offs you’ll take any advantage, no matter how small.
