QUIZ NIGHT AT THE WALKS
« on: June 09, 2019, 10:46:49 PM »

Sponsored by : Barrett Batchelor Mortgage Services LLP and ARC Fabrications (King's Lynn) Ltd

The Blue & Gold Trust in conjunction with Kings Lynn Town Football Club are holding a quiz night in the bar at The Walks Football Stadium on Friday the 28th of June 2019. All proceeds will go to the Ground Development Fund (GDF).

Doors open at 7pm with the quiz starting at 7:30pm.  Entry will be 4 per head with teams of up to a maximum of 4 people.  The winning team will receive a cash prize of 50.

A raffle will also be held, and any donations towards raffle prizes would be gratefully received.

Even if you do not wish to participate in the quiz, come along to have a chat or drop in with your donation to the GDF.

The Trust is also planning to hold a sale/auction of KLFC/KLTFC, or any football memorabilia.  Again, any donations towards the sale/auction would be gratefully received.  We already have in excess of 300 programmes starting from the 1962/62 season.  Again, proceeds will go to the GDF.

To make donations to the raffle or the memorabilia sale/auction, please contact Phil Ellis on 07710 937103.

Great, will it be an on line auction (a la Ebay) so you get the max for each item and we can all join in from afar ?

Really good to see the Trust running a fund raiser at the Walks, the GDF is something everyone can get behind whether they are a Trust member or not.  Hoping for a good turnout and a good boost to the GDF.

I can actually see this event being rammed, all of those people who slagged the trust's support of the club will now have to put their money where their mouth is?

It would be nice if a few of the more local players, could join in and enter a team.   :scarf:

Is that the same one that Mott the Hopple makes an appearance? Great fan of his music in the 70s!
