THINKING BIGGER
« on: July 12, 2019, 04:54:12 PM »
Just been on the non-league site and am slightly concerned thT virtually all of our approaching opponents are.testing their calibre against League clubs.  I hope that doesnít show they are more ambitious than us - in their recruitment, perhaps....  And how is our turnstile improvement going - havenít seen a mention ....

Presumably (having done no research whatsoever) we get one season's grace or its demotion once again?

Iím sure there would be no chance of any form of demotion for this coming season.  Fixtures are all
Out, so anything like would cause chaos. So maybe itís March 31st 2020.

My understanding is that some of the work has to be completed before the start of the season, and some by the end of March.

Well letís hope that all the immediate requirements are being carried out. If we fall behind can only see it only being a fine.  Any changes to League structure at this late date would be crazy

To clarify the ground works etc.

We will not be relegated, have points deducted or given a fine if works are not complete by the first game of the season. The club has until the end of March 2020 to complete ALL work that has to be done. Work to the dugouts and press box have already been completed to fall in line with regulations. The club and trust are jointly funding the segregation work that involves fencing, toilets, catering point and turnstiles which is on going. Plans and consultation have to take place with various authorities locally and nationally to ensure the work is being carried out to the correct specifications. The plans have been lodged with the correct parties and once the intent is seen by the league etc you are given time to complete the work. If no intent is seen then the trouble begins. Hope this is of help to you all.

Thankfully nothing to worry about then. 8/9 months to get it done. No panic

Cheers Mark,  thanks for clearing that up.

Thank you Mark,

Does this mean we can expect the corner bar to again become in use/ as a hub for either the loo's or an outlet for away fans?
