Well I thought that was bloody daft at the time...squad numbers are squad numbers... Marriott is 10 so how can Hendo and another effectively wear the same number....I assume that's what you are referring to Mall... that's just a really poor error.

Not sure, but I don't think he's referring to a Lynn no. 10.

KES, as I said, I'm not sure if I'm reading Mallards post correctly or not.

I suspect he has "tunnel vision".

Thanks B&G......I think I can interpret what you are hinting at.
Mallard is a one tho...does like the occasional teasing and controversial post....and does appear to have access to things that others don't somehow......almost a "Carlsberg "Journalist ha ha !!

... So maybe its worth trying to seize the day with the league opportunity if its possible to do it and if the club can continue to develop fast enough to support it...

Huge question there and lets just say I remain to be convinced.  As for sanity and vanity, lets just see what last years promotion push did to the balance sheet and I haven't seen much this season to suggest that we are no longer reliant on the goodwill (and cash) of one man - higher gates are a start but it was a pretty big hole to fill by all accounts and the commercial side of the club is remains step 3 at best.

I think with the much larger than budgeted for gates the squad could be increased? Anyone know where we could get another Gash?  :scarf:

Griss, I guess it depends if the club gets any heavy fines going forward.  As I understand it Boris is not the only one with problems with no 10!
Not so unusual KES London Rd to Lowestoft 75 miles London Rd to Alfreton 91 miles

Or put another way. Lynn to Lowestoft 1 hour 30, Lynn to Alfreton 2hrs 5 mins if you are lucky and dont get behind anything slow moving on the A17 !

If you can do 75 miles in 90 minutes you will get a speeding ticket

Per Google directions this evening ..so quieter roads, but suspect time diff between journeys might be greater during daytime with slow moving stuff on A17.

went within 5 miles of Alfreton  two week ago from Norwich it took 4 hours and we left at 6 am  and the lorry traffic was not good  and plenty of speed cameras including the average speed ones

no trouble with the car  just the amount of traffic on the road even at that time of day  you just could not  overtake   lorries, caravans and the usual l nutters  cant image what it would be like leaving Lynn at 11 or 12 on a Saturday   and praying there isn't road works or an accident
