Bevan Asher brilliant video, thanks. What a game. Both sides going hammer and tongs with some fantastic footwork by all the players. What a build up to Adam Marriott's goal! Pure joy to watch the slick passing and cool control against a very good team. Alex Street made some great saves - thanks Pedro. Chris Henderson works his socks off and you can see why he gets subbed a lot as he must be knackered.

I have also just watched the video and in particular Marriott's goal. A goal of this type (22 passes starting from the goalkeeper) would have had the pundits on MOTD extolling its quality. The finish itself by Marriott was quite sublime. Our first 10 games saw us gain 23 points. If (I did say if) we win our next 2 games (home against Gateshead & Blyth) then we will have gained 21 points from the second batch of 10 games which included games against York, Chester & Southport. If we consider IC's mantra of taking it 10 games at a time then all is going very well indeed. However, the third batch of 10 games includes Spennymoor (H), Chester (A) & York (H) on the 4th, 11th & 18th January respectively. That period could define our season :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Great team goal for the first and what a finish.  The pass from Kelly for the 2nd was different class.  What vision. Sublime finish from Hendo.   For the Southport goal the guy must have made 40 yards without a challenge. Think Pedro might be a little disappointed to be beaten low down from there.

Great win and could see what it meant and the bond thatís there.

Don't know how true this is, but rumour has it Marriot's goal may be shown on Soccer AM this weekend
