Not sure the alternative of a 6 hour round trip on a Tuesday is that much more appealing.  Games have to be played within 6 weeks of the original date. ( Admin ?)

I think I would prefer the game to go ahead, every obstacle you put in front of these boys they clear. :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

"8.39 Where a match has been postponed for any reason, the two Clubs concerned must agree within seven (7) days of the postponement a new date (which shall, save in exceptional circumstances, be within 42 days of the original date) and in default the Board is empowered to order Clubs to play on a date it considers suitable. The Competition Secretary shall determine the new date."

Hopefully we can arrange a date with Chester which is 4 or 5 weeks after the original date, avoiding the busiest time and allowing the squad to return to fitness.
Re Gloucester, I think I would favour playing tomorrow, as there is a five day gap before Boston. Any away match on  Tuesday is a heck of an ask, especially at this time of year.

I see Gloucester have made six signings in the last few weeks and are going full time from next season.

With our injury problems, its a blessing that the game is off. It will give several key players a rest before the Boston game.

And 3rd place Chester drew 0-0 at home to Telford.

Have to love that guy Alun Armstrong at Darlington.

With nothing coming out about a new arrival prior to the trip to Gloucester, can we assume IC is looking to get through the next three games with existing resources and hope that players start to recover quicker than new injuries are incurred?  I guess it will depend on how serious Hawkins, Jarvis and Henderson were after Dover as in effect we finished with 12 fit first team players - the 10 that finished plus Kelly and Ward.  Stewart is now back at Lynn and the reserves are only playing the next two Saturdays so the likes of Joseph Taylor could at least make the bench look a little healthier for the two Boston games.
