The attendance was impressive under the circumstances. Well done to those supporters who ignored the scaremongering. The concerns over large gatherings are not because the risk of infections increases in such situations but because of the demands placed on public services.

The attendance was impressive, but Stanís congratulations to those who ďignored the scaremongeringĒ was badly misinformed, and unkind to those who didnít go, either to protect themselves or to help stop the spread to others.  They didnít fall for the scaremongering, as Stan rather insultingly put it.  Donít forget Stan, we have all been warned that there are probably many people who have the virus but not yet the symptoms, so none of us know who to avoid.  Hard luck KL as it sounds like things didnít go our way despite an improved performance......

My exact sentiments. I'm of a certain age and would have loved to have been there. What gets me is the fact that some clubs used the virus as an excuse to get games called off .The league have either got to make all teams play or call all games off for time being.

Dilly. I'm just paraphrasing official guidance whereas you're paraphrasing those on here who think they know better. Just because you agree with the opinion of others Dilly doesn't make it well-informed!

Just read the article Linnet and there's nothing in it about public gatherings being a greater risk than normal day to day interactions. Not sure what your point is really?
