It will be interesting to see what happens if National League clubs prefer one way of ending the current season and the EFL choose another. Will loyalty to member clubs take priority over National League ambitions?
The thing is with the demise of Bury will the EFL want another disruptive season of running a Division with one team short ? That alone says that one team ( Barrow) will be promoted from the National
League. That alone should start of a chain of events.
The Premier League ( or rather the TV money) run Football not the FA. So The Prem
League will decide what’s best for football ( or their bank accounts). 700-800m at stake if the TV companies demand back the % of no games shown will have an impact on what happens.
