Apparently our Chairman has predicted that there will be 40,000 people watch the York game at a tenner a head and that’s where future is.Can’t see the 40,000 myself but paying to watch a game on line could become common practice for some in the future. The price they are prepared to pay will be interesting. One of the problems I can see is the games will obviously be broadcast to a worldwide audience. How many will want to tune in to a Lynn or York match when for the same price they can tune into a Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal or United?
KES. BT already offer that. Most Saturdays they either have a 12.30 or a 5.30 live game from The National League. They also do a highlights programme in the week covering every game from the National LeagueNeeds re packaging and scheduling so it's not in competition with other Elite Football offerings
Lots of people prefer the non league offering....decent standard, no prima donnas, no VAR..........the playoffs could be a good lead up to it, if they are well supported.
