Media department internal reshuffle
« on: July 31, 2020, 10:56:57 AM »

From Clubs website:

The Linnets have thanked Greg Plummer who has stepped down from his role in the club’s media department following an internal reshuffle. Plummer, the Lynn News sports editor,  has served the club in various roles over many years , including club shop manager and over the past three season’s assisting the club’s media department in various roles.

Speaking following the announcement the club’s head of media Mark Hearle said ‘Greg has provided some sterling service to the football club over a long period of time now. With the step up  to National League we now have to be giving extra attention to various parts of the media operation, especially on a match day, and with Greg’s position at the Lynn News and their own requirements on Saturday’s it became clear that he  would not be able to donate the time to what we will be needing to do to provide a comprehensive service to supporters when we are in action.

I would like to place on record mine and the club’s thanks to Greg for all of his assistance and support he has given to us over the past years which more often than not has proved invaluable. We look forward to seeing Greg back in the press box at The Walks very soon when we finally commence our maiden National League season’.
