Speaking of players who have left a lasting impression at the Walks, can anyone recall the three players from visiting teams whe ran the show from start to finish,MARK lawrenson for Corby town 1 -6 Ian storey Moore for Burton Albion 0-5 and Peter Tayler for Dartford 1-5 have not seen any other players have so much influence in a game of football as these three.

Reg Davies was the man to leave lasting impression at Walks!! Ask Mal Lindsay how many goals he fed him of his 350+!!
Ivor Allchurch at Worcester City!! Reg's Arch Enemy!
John Charles; Hereford a true Goliath to play against even at 40 yrs old!!

Yes, for Stocksbridge Park Steels on the opening day of the 09/10 season. A couple of years previously Troy Deeney played against us for Halesowen.

Conor Washington for St Ives when we were in the UCL. He was excellent in that UCL Cup Final at the end of the 11/12 season. Now at QPR and just been called up for Northern Ireland.

There were games when Mick Wright seemed to be playing every where other than in goal!
