The Trusts GDF-Supporter fund raising initiative
« on: August 12, 2020, 10:43:46 AM »

How about Contacting Mark Hearle to see if the Club would release the first of the new shirts off the production line, with the new sponsor's name.  Then get all the first team squad to sign it and The Trust run a raffle at a Fiver a ticket.

Iíll even buy the shirt.

Maybe the Chairman could present the shirt to the winner.  Good photo opportunity for the Chairman/Club plus also help toward a reconciliation between SC and The Trust.

Thoughts?

I'm pleased to say that Mark Hearle has been in touch (via Richard) and that the Club have given their blessing with regards to Mallards suggestion (above), and his very kind offer to purchase a new team shirt, which the Trust will then raffle.

By sponsoring the cost of the shirt, 100% of the proceeds of the raffle can then go towards the GDF.

Please keep an eye on the forum, as further details will be posted as soon as possible.

Recent Trust activity has seen the GDF rise to a current amount of £3535:08.

Hopefully the club will supply Mallard with the shirt at cost as a gesture of thanks for his generous offer rather than profiteer on a fundraising gesture that will benefit the GDF and subsequently the club.
