PL financial help for non league clubs
« on: September 06, 2020, 03:12:26 PM »
PL have have answered calls to help non league clubs by making available a match day support fund.

With total of over  5 million available, the Grant will be awarded depending on the level the Clubs play at.

Apparently that means around 20k each for Clubs playing at Lynn's level.

A stipulation that its not to be used for players wages,  a list is available explaining what the money can be spent on. It's quite a long list, but basically is where the current Pandemic has created additional MATCH DAY costs for the Clubs. Examples given are such things as payment of stewarding, hiring of temporary toilets, cleaning and sanitation etc etc.

2k for Reserves which will probably help them a lot. I don't know if it could somehow be put towards assisting them with the additional match day costs that they incur due to playing at Downham.  :dontknow:

When you're dead, you don't know you are dead. The pain is felt by others. The same thing happens when you are stupid.
