Double signing for Lynn
« on: October 22, 2020, 07:38:58 PM »

King’s Lynn Town are pleased to announce the signings of central defender Danny Lupano and forward Kairo Mitchell.

Belgian born Danny, who is 20, joins the club on loan from Hull City, initially for one month, after a similar spell in Northern Ireland with Derry City last season. Moving to England at 16 Danny joined Solihull Moors before joining Birmingham City in 2018. After leaving Birmingham he joined Hednesford Town before having trials at Wolves, Leicester and Hull where he put pen-to-paper on a professional deal.

23 year old striker Kairo joins after a brief spell with Dartford in the National League South. Kairo started his career with his hometown club Leicester City and on release he joined Nuneaton Borough and then Coalville Town before joining Dartford on the eve of the new season after impressing as a trialist in pre-season. Kairo has made 7 appearances for the Grenada national team, scoring 3 goals.

Speaking on the signings, Director of Football Robbie Back commented “We are really pleased to bring in both Danny & Kairo. We have been looking for a front man now for a few weeks after losing Gashy with illness and hearing he could be out for a few more months. Kairo will bring in something different to the other strikers we have and gives us another attacking option. He played well against us for Coalville a few years ago so we know what he can do.

We wanted to bring in another defender with Aaron Jones picking up a knee injury but thankfully this is not as bad as first feared. Danny did very well for Derry last season and there were keen to take him back again on loan. We would like to thank Hull City for their assistance in the signing”

The club would also like to place on record their thanks to Jake Smith and all those at the Dukes Head Hotel in King’s Lynn for their assistance with the signing of Danny.

Oh dear another one of those ..."I think I know something you don't, so I will leave you hanging " posts.....how tedious, I thought we had seen the end of those.
