If Street signs for Bedford, he won't play for at least a month, so he could have stayed here. Obviously Lynn paying him wasn't an issue as it was his and not the Clubs decision to leave.

Aware that there is the Setch link at Bedford, but Pedro is better than step 4 keeper, with forthcoming lockdown will not be playing for a month below step2 anyway.
I did hear that Boston we watching the situation here at The Walks when we signed Mair, Kettering also NLN
Then several step 3 clubs within 50 or 60 miles. Peterborough Sports, Leiston. Lowestoft, Needham Mkt.

I believe Boston were interested a while back but have now got a keeper who is keeping clean sheets. I wouldnt't be surprised if he ended up there, as I'm sure he would get glowing references from Bastock, but I think its less likely now than it would have been a few months ago.  :dontknow:

Boston or Kettering would be good for him. Anything lower than that would be a waste of talent.

Obviously the only reason Bedford is mentioned is because of his friendship with Setch. He's better than that but obviously wants to play so wherever he ends up its understandable.

I wish him well.

LOL.

Far too good for them, but guess that was always going to be where he ended up.

Iím not convinced about Mair, yet.  Alex was great at pouncing on things on the ground when it looked like they were going in.  And I donít think he would have let in the 2 at the weekend.  He did make mistakes, but heís just about cut them out.  Iím disappointed.  Mair wonít be here next season, IMO.

I have nothing but admiration for alex, given his loyalty to the club. The season Danny gay came in and knocked Alex down the pecking order he was offered the chance to leave then but stuck around to win 'his' shirt back. However, i feel like he has almost  'chucked his toys out' as such after Archie was rightly or wrongly made number 1. I get anyone would want to play regularly however i think he was used to be a lone ranger for almost all the decade he was here so didnt like it when competition arrived.  I also feel as though setch as had a hand in him deciding to leave looking through his tweets previously.

Only my opinion

There's some crackin pubs around the Bedford area, so everyone's a winner
