Dover at home Saturday

After Tuesdays fine away win, will IC go with the same again ?
McFadden could be onboard bu then. Richards and Power might be back from injury. Good also to see Gash and Jones taking part in the pre match warm up at Barnet.
The squad is certainly showing some real strength in depth.
Dover got a 5-1 dicking on Tuesday. While no games are easy we have got to fancy 3 points from this one. Table could make pleasant reading come Saturday night.
What a difference a week can make

Fingers crossed there is no slip-up against Dover, remembering last season we were going for promotion, only to lose at home to lowly Kidderminster then 0-2 against rock bottom Bradford PA.

A win against Dover COULD see us in the top 10.....won't be such a bad start after all.

A win over Dover would make it 4 wins from last 5 games. Funny old game Saint.

The problem for a part time side will still be trying to play at that level Tuesday- Saturday.
I think they will struggle to achieve the level of Tuesday... hopefully they will do enough to win.....Lynn really need to start taking 3 points from the lower teams in the league, especially after the disappointments of the Weymouth and Wealdstone encounters.

Great result today, Back 5 put a big shift in today. Kyle McFadden looked very complete and solid at the back, also looked very good on the ball. Also thought Kairo Mitchell was excellent. 4 wins in 5 is a great run and another clean sheet.

Not only the players, looks like I Culverhouse has learnt a lot during the opening weeks of this season, in that we are now competing against teams that are bigger , faster and in being full time fitter than we have been used to playing.
We are now denied both the time and space to play the kind of football that has got us this far.
However the good news is that we are learning and are adapting, having said that we do need points on the board to see us through December with with three tough away games plus Torquay and Notts County to contend with at home.

Interesting that many were expecting a win Saturday ( duly delivered). Says a lot how far we have cone when we are expected to win any game at Step 1.
Looked a professional job done on Saturday. As others have said looks like we have learnt very quickly on the job.
Interesting what Loma was saying in interview about Lynn being a more gifted team than the Woking side he played in last season. Think they finished well up the League

I had to find the Dover manager's interview to check out what he was unhappy about, seems he did not agree with their red card prior to the penalty and he thought Sonny Carey should have received a red for the trip near half-way line.
But seems he has referee issues most times when Dover loose he could be seeing more red's before the season is through.

To be fair, other refs may have had a different view on Sonny's 'challenge', I think the ref got it right in terms of their being other defenders back so not the last man and not dangerous but still a silly thing to do in the middle of the park. Not sure there was much argument about their red, Mitchell got the wrong side and was brought down, once the ref had given the penalty he had no option but to give the guy his marching orders.
As for Lynn, I guess the main positives were another clean sheet and another three points which keeps the momentum going. Slightly disappointed we stayed so negative against what will probably end up being the basement side in the league and they still managed to open us up a number of times in the second half. Carey and Kelly on very short leashes meant the full backs were our only real outlet and not sure Loza coming so deep, so often, is what we need at home when the opposition is just looking to get bodies behind the ball. Fair enough for IC to stick with the three centre-halves for the time being and away from home that formation (if not personnel) may be our best bet but against the lesser sides at home I would like to see us impose ourselves a bit more.
One final point on the post on the live feed about the streaming - from what I have seen the quality of Lynn's is better than a number at this level (and further comments from SC post match about further improvements) but would agree with the comments about the commentary.
