Whilst the debate rages (well at least continues) about whether the we have set the price for the return of fans too high there have been a couple of developments at fan owned clubs that might add a bit of perspective.
The One Show on BBC last night had a feature on Chester with their chairman making a lot of sensible comments about being fan owned and the restrictions that is placing on them and the struggle they face getting through the season. On a brighter note, I have just seen this from our league rivals Chesterfield who are asking fans to pay for extra equipment that wasn't in the budget and have raised £5K of the £10K target in 24 hours.
Much as I am not a fan of the 'benefactor model', I really can't ever see a point where Lynn fans would be prepared to fund a team above step 3 (at best) so maybe others are right and we just need to enjoy the journey with SC and IC and not think about what happens when it goes pop
