Looks that way!

"More of the east and south east of England will enter the toughest Tier 4 lockdown on Boxing Day,  Matt Hancock has announced.

The Health Secretary revealed the stricter measures on Wednesday at a Downing Street press conference  as he said the virus was “spreading at a dangerous rate”.

Areas to enter Tier 4 include  Sussex, Oxfordshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, parts of Essex currently not covered and Waverley in Surrey.

Sadly B&G looks like your prediction was bang on the money.  Mind it had to happen.

Must be a question On if a circuit breaker is needed in the new Year in Footballing terms.

"There is particular concern about West Norfolk, where the rate has hit a record high - and where the Queen Elizabeth Hospital is under particular pressure, prompting a plea from its chief executive".

Club statement this evening.

Free streaming Boxing day?   :dontknow:

Free streaming. Why ?

With Club having to return 700 plus x £25 the club will need to maximise the earning potential from streaming

Maybe an offer to the supporters that have already purchased tickets of free streaming in return for not having a refund.   :dontknow:

Club saying that refunds will be given automatically in the next 7 - 10 days.

I have to say, that if it's been raining in Lynn like it has been in Norwich today (absolute deluge) on what was an already heavy Walks pitch, the Notts match must already be in doubt, very sadly

I’m just outside of Lynn. It’s been raining since noon, and at times its been very heavy.

Club Statement:

Following today’s Government announcement placing Norfolk into Tier 4 of COVID-19 restrictions, King’s Lynn Town Football Club can confirm all forthcoming fixtures at The Walks Stadium, including the Boxing Day match with Notts County (K.O. 3pm), will unfortunately now be played behind closed doors.

As a result, all supporters who have purchased tickets for the Vanarama National League game against Notts County will now be issued an automatic refund within the next 7-10 working days.

We’ve had offers from supporters to make their ticket a donation to the club, we are so thankful, and if you would like to do so, please contact the club to arrange this.

Streaming for the upcoming games is to continue and a stream for the fixture against Notts County can be purchased here: https://streaming.insightfour.com/stream/UmdEazZL

Accounts for all season ticket holders have been reactivated for the streaming, so please login using the previous process. Everybody at King’s Lynn Town Football Club would like to thank supporters during this period and we will continue to communicate further updates on our website and on our social media channels.

Club have now changed it's mind and if you want a refund for the Notts County game you need to ask (unless you have already had your refund).  Changing the rules half way through the process seems a crazy option but I guess SC has a sensible reason why?  Full statement from the club:

"The football club has begun this week the refund process for the postponed Notts County fixture, due to have been played on Boxing Day at The Walks. However we have been contacted by supporters, of both clubs, who wished for us to keep their ticket money as a donation to King’s Lynn Town Football Club.

Around half of the refunds have been completed, but we have now suspended the process and ask that you contact our box office manager Zoe Sandle by sending an email to zoe.sandle@kltown.co.uk if you wish for a full refund, and she will issue one with immediate effect.

If you wish for the club to keep your ticket money as a donation you need to do nothing. We thank you in advance for your very kind gesture."

Supporters of both Clubs? I can't keep up with all this. Were away supporters allowed to attend the game?  :dontknow:
