Good signing - replacement for Loza.

Welcome to The Walks.

Nothing against the lad, but this is wrong, more people out of work, we are using handouts to sign players. Unless someone has won the lottery.

I will be very surprised with Covid rates as they are, if we don't have a repeat of March, with elite sport attempting to continue, but having to stop within a couple of weeks, because too many will be getting infected.
Given the  foreseeable situation, it won't be right if clubs start bemoaning their plight if they run into a financial problem having just made signings.

You don't think he'll want a weekly wage?

Loza gone so would assume his wages and the transfer fee received would help with this signing.

Think  some of that might have been used on the new Secretary and the other winger that joined..... surprised the club didn't wait just a week or two more before replacing Loza.......if things shut down very soon, it would have been a useful saving.

Would assume the new secretary's wages wouldn't come out of the playing budget? And, guessing, I can't imagine Gyasi was on anything that Loza would be?

Personally look forward to seeing Alex play. Got a decent pedigree.

Have to say itís a brave decision by the Chairman to add two new bodies in a week when the whole country goes into lockdown and at the same time as the initial 3 months of Gov money ends.  The Chairman must be confident that the new offer of money from Sport England is going to come through in decent numbers in the form of a grant and not a loan.   If not is he thinking he will find it all himself ?

Fair point. Guess all the other clubs in this league who have signed players in the last week are confident of the money coming through as well.

Let's hope their confidence is justified..........makes me think there must be more in the pot or potential pot at Lynn, than is sometimes suggested....
I' m all for strengthening the club in general and making it more professional...... it's just the timing of this that feels a little incongruous.....as for Kiwomya....I wish him well and hope he proves to be a good signing........seems like he has had a number of set backs along the way and has plenty to prove.

Seemingly not all.   Chester seem somewhat concerned.

"not received any communication".

"NL asked to engage with its members".

In a way, that's quite ironic coming from a football club.
