Great result, and much needed.   Should be a real confidence booster

Gash was immense,  marriot misses a 1 on 1 shame he couldn't have put that away just to boost his confidence.
Awesome result on to dag & red Saturday who have only scored 2 at home all season let's hope we can nick another 3 points there.
Well done boys

Very difficult playing conditions at Eastleigh (wind, rain and slippery ground) caused problems for both teams (obviously). The "dubious" penalty and resulting scoreline was the difference between the two teams at the end of a scrappy game. Winning Ugly and a welcome 3points. I think Alex Kiwomya's body was in the area when he was fouled with contact point outside.  :dontknow:

Aaron Jones was lucky to still be on the pitch at the end and could easily seen a 2nd  :yellow card: but methinks the Ref took into account conditions and gave Aaron a "final verbal warning" when he could have given  :yellow card: :yellow card: :red card: late on.

Michael Gash was again immense up front and back in defence at corners. The defence is so much stronger now with Kyle Callum-McFadden in control. Archie Mair is doing a great job now he has a defence he can rely on.

Adam Marriott is, I think, short on game time. But is he not fully recovered  :dontknow: Nice to see him start rather than warm the bench for 60-70minutes. Was Ryan Jarvis playing further up Midfield  :dontknow:

All in all the team deserved the 3points on a 4hour+, each-way, trip on a filthy night mid-week.

By the way, Referee was pretty good - well done Sir.

Didn’t see it, because couldn’t get on the stream for some reason - first time this season.  Great result.  Can’t comment on the performance, but in those conditions it’s always a lottery.  Team shaping up nicely, with selections getting bolder. We can keep going up this league as we now have some slippery nipster tricksters, a lunk, and a couple of hooligans....KES and Mallard know it makes sense. !!  WLM likes” ugly”....  well, we’ve all been there !.....
