Shame he is leaving in these circumstances.Gave this club 3 excellent years service no doubt his partnership with Michael Gash helped to get us where we are. Sorry to see him leave but good luck to him.

Very sad news in my opinion. His goals were hugely responsible for Lynn’s success in the last couple of years. A phenomenal return of sixty-odd goals in less than 100 games.
I’m sure he would have got back into form in this division if it wasn’t for his injury, Covid etc.
I wish him all the best at Eastleigh.

Adam will be missed there is no doubt about it and will be hard to replace but he was only looking after number one by going to a team who were willing to pay him for his services good luck to the lad  :thanks: :thanks:

Time for Adam, the club and the fans to move on.....as he put it ...all good things come to an end.
He flourished in the system Lynn used to play....but it's natural and necessary for things to change...he feels at 29, I would guess that he needs to be playing and have the security of a longer contract, Lynn on the other hand are evolving into a squad that can compete at NL level.on a tight budget...... impossible to keep climbing the leagues and retain the same system and squad. Gash and Marriott were instrumental in getting us here, we now look forward to our new forward line....some of which may already be taking shape

...at least one of them will probably get pulled off after scoring Dilly...it seems to be the way of things in the NL/full time sides

Sad to see him go and a real shame that we never saw the best of him this season having come into the campaign injured and never really got going.  Don't think the changes made to the squad / playing style this season really helped him and just hope he can find the right move in the summer (not sure Eastleigh is that move)

What, as well as a 52 week contract?

It DOES KES , I agree with that.  But it. feels worse for me, being what some like to call a “purist”.  It often looks to me that certain managers often take off the player causing the opposition the most problems, and replacing him with a safety first type player.  It happens here under IC, whose opinions I do, of course, respect, considering the two years he’s given us. It seldom works, IMHO, because, it gives the opponents the initiative.  And I would like to say I don’t understand the opinion of some on here who aren’t completely onside with SC.  I think he has done us proud, and I hope he retains his interest and ambitions.

I think that's a timely word in support of our Chairman Dilly. The last few months must have been incredibly difficult for him on many levels........having brought unprecedented success to the club before this season started. Hopefully IC sticks with it, because if the crowds are allowed back, next season will be special at The Walks and I feel SC's input and commitment deserves that.

See Adam has been keeping the bench warm again at Eastleigh today.......a big ask after not playing for some time, to try and hit the ground running and they do have a fairly strong squad there
