If the Club needs cash then why not cash in on offers that come in ?    Next season might look very different in terms of what is available to IC.

:farmer: :oldman"  We need money to survive, there may well be lots of players available next season, Kairo Mitchell was not a name mentioned or possibly even heard off by any Lynn supporters at the start of the season. We will finish the season re group in the summer, new players in hopefully crowds back in full and some big attendances will help swell the coffers. All in all this pandemic was not foreseen, itís happened and we as a club, like many others have to pick up the pieces and fight on.  :oldman" :farmer:

SC explained the situation on commentary - lots of interest for Mitchell but Chesterfield matched our valuation (plus sell on clause) and with them paying 52 week contracts it was a step up for the player and the club won't stand in a player's way if the club and player have done things properly.  Difficult in the current climate and squad situation but can't always choose when teams come in with bids for players

I am disappointed to see him go....more so than I was with Marriott.......but it just shows the buying power of these big full time clubs. The Chesterfield manager is getting lots of plaudits for their run, but they have simply achieved that by plundering the likes of Gloucester and Weymouth and now Lynn.
Very, very difficult to keep players when its a full time contract versus a part time one.......and so Lynn have unearthed a few gems during the season and they get picked off just like that.........Carey is also obviously being looked at.

Well whoever they are I hope itís a Mitchell type deal and not a Marriot one.

Iíd be interested to hear ICís take on all these departures.

You and lots of others.

Be surprised if it happens though, wouldn't you?

Think we might have Carey until those teams with a transfer window can get involved in buying him.

Would be better trying to get new investors instead of selling players. One thing pandemic has shown is you can't get away being a one man band.
